Hostage Rules
- When taking someone hostage you must first have a reason to take them hostage, eg. a robbery.
- You must also have had some sort of previous interaction with them.
- When taking someone hostage you are permitted to keep them for a max of 15 minutes. If you exceed this time then you must let the hostage go.
- The only exception to this timer is if the scene is active, this means that police are for example preparing negotiations, securing the scene etc. If there is no police and the scene is not active then you must let the hostage go after 15 minutes.
This is a Level 2 Violation, please refer to our Punishment Groups for more information about this.
